Wynika z niego, że odsetek kobiet profesorek w Holandii w ciągu ostatnich kilku lat nieznacznie wzrósł do 17,1 procent. W tym tempie, równość płci w świecie akademickim osięgnięta zostanie w połowie tego stulecia. Według Holenderskiej Krajowej Sieci Kobiet Profesorek (LNVH), przepaści nie można wytłumaczyć brakiem wykwalifikowanych starszych wykładowczyń. Zdaniem LNVH, około 83 procent wszystkich stanowisk mogłoby bez trudu być obsadzone przez kobiety.
